Question 1

How does the personalisation work?

Accepted Answer

Your name, text, or image is precision laser-etched directly into the stainless steel — not painted or printed. It is permanent, sharp, and will never fade, peel, or wash off.

Question 2

Can I send my own logo or image?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Add a description of your image in the personalisation field when ordering, then send the actual file (JPG, PNG, or SVG) to us on WhatsApp at +27 73 417 0063. We will confirm the layout before cutting.

Question 3

Is it suitable for all types of fire?

Accepted Answer

Yes — wood, charcoal, or briquettes. The stainless steel handles high heat without warping, rusting, or discolouring.

Question 4

How portable is it really?

Accepted Answer

Very. It folds flat to 40 mm thick and weighs under 3 kg. It fits in the boot of any car and sets up in under a minute with no tools.

Question 5

How do I clean it after use?

Accepted Answer

Let it cool, wipe down with a damp cloth, and it is done. Stainless steel does not absorb odours or grease like cast iron. It can also be scrubbed with a steel brush for a deeper clean.

Question 6

How long does delivery take?

Accepted Answer

5–12 working days from order to your door, free anywhere in South Africa. Personalised orders take slightly longer to ensure the engraving is perfect.
